· Who are you? - Nili Mistry - Founder
· What sets you apart from the competition? - We offer our guests a personal service by meeting and greeting them at check in and check out, as well as being available to answer questions and offer a mini concierge service should they want to book a table at some of my favourite restaurants, where I have a good relationship with the management team
· How did the business come about? I have several buy to let properties which essentially run themselves and I wanted to offer my guests something more. We provide chocolates / beer / wine for our repeat guests or if anyone is over for their birthday or anniversary.
· What are your main target markets? Our main target markets are contractors working in the area or nearby; directors over for meetings; people moving home and needing a stop gap between their sale and purchase; people having renovations done on their home or insurance companies needing to provide homes for their clients. We sometimes even get guests who are over for events / festivals in the area - including stall holders and / or event organisers / performers.
· How long has your business been in existence? Crystal Stays has been trading since October 2020
· How many staff do you employ? We currently have freelance staff for cleaning, maintenance, plumbing and electrical work
· What job or achievement makes you most proud? Having happy and repeat guests makes me feel proud of the work we are doing and the service we are providing.
· Where do you see the business being in five years? I see Crystal Stays having more accommodation to offer to our guests
· Tell us one interesting thing about the business that might surprise us? Each apartment has a theme relating to some thing or some place that means something to me
· Tell us one interesting thing about you that people might not know? (ie, hobbies, amusing fact, etc) I’m an adrenaline junkie - I did a sky dive last week and I’ve done a shark dive. Also, I’m a foodie who loves weight lifting.
