What sets you apart from the competition? – Having owned my own business for most of the past 20 years, I understand the needs of a business owner and can ensure that I partner with you to help achieve your financial goals knowing the reality of a business’s demands. I wish I had known what I know now and know if I had had someone like me by my side, I could have made better decisions.
How did the business come about? Covid allowed me time due to one of my businesses pretty much stopping (retail consultancy). I used this time to train as a Financial Advisor, something I had wanted to do for many years.
What are your main target markets? Business owners, professional women plus anyone with the drive and desire to improve their long-term position.
How long has your business been in existence? Under 1 year
How many staff do you employ? Just me plus external support for admin
What job or achievement makes you most proud? Founding and running our charity the Alice Hiley Memorial Trust helping neonatal units in the North West improve the outcomes for neonatal babies
Where do you see the business being in five years? I would like to see that we’ve helped people improve their financial position, with a small team allowing us to help more to do the same
Tell us one interesting thing about the business that might surprise us? As part of my way of reviewing our situation I run a section on life planning which many people have already said has really helped with other aspects of their life as it has allowed them to take time out to think about it!
Tell us one interesting thing about you that people might not know? (ie, hobbies, amusing fact, etc) I run a small charity the Alice Hiley Memorial Trust in memory of my second daughter, supporting neonatal units in the North West.
Fantasy dinner party – which six people alive or dead would you invite? Marie Curie, Margaret Thatcher, Gordon Ramsey, Jeff Bezos, Peter Kaye and Queen Elizabeth II.
