Three global brands will be appearing at Warrington's premier business event on the 11th October. With a theme of "Brand Warrington", this half day conference will highlight some of the household names that guests might not be aware have a major presence in the town. Whilst Greenall's have been distilling gin in the borough since 1761, the white goods giant Hoover Candy recently consolidated UK operations into Birchwood Park in 2019, joining other headquarters such as New Balance, Betfred, Sellafield and United Utilities.

The annual conference is the largest in Warrington, with over 200 guests looking for inspiration from successful businesses, political backing from local MPs and government support from the Business Minister. Cineworld will once again host the event, utilising the Dolby Atmos technology of its Super Screen theatre. The Botanist will then welcome guests for lunch in its award winning restaurant, all within the Council's £142 million Time Square development.

Delivery partners include Warrington & Co, the economic regeneration arm of Warrington Borough Council; networking organisation the Business Exchange and the local Chamber of Commerce.

John Laverick, Managing Director of Warrington & Co, commented: " The Business Conference is a great opportunity to showcase the many success stories we have across the town. I'm especially interested in hearing how Greenall's manages to keep the brand fresh after nearly 300 years."

Chief Executive of Warrington Chamber of Commerce, Stephen Fitzsimons, added "This is the fifth time we have organised this event and it's really reassuring to see the private and public sector working in partnership to make the town an attractive location for international companies."

Warrington Business Conference is free for members of the Chamber and Business Exchange, however all are welcome to book through Eventbrite.
