“In the late 90’s and and into the noughties I studied a communications degree at Manchester Metropolitan University and then went on to do a Masters Degree in Marketing at UCLAN in Preston. So I go into the college to share how I have used the academic theory from my student days through my career; the different jobs I’ve had since leaving University and what it’s been like over the last decade owning and operating small businesses. We also give the students a chance to spend time within our offices and share tips around interview skills; job searches and differentiating themselves in a very competitive jobs market”.
Carl is working with Gavin, Faye and colleagues at Warrington & Vale Royal College to arrange an event in the new year, aiming to raise money for a local charity while also fulfilling one of the module requirements in the student’s qualifications. Watch this space!
