The details: What does the fund cover? The Workforce Development Fund can support the cost of tuition for training programmes that are not already funded (such as Adult Skills Fund courses). It's designed to help your employees upskill in areas critical to your business's growth. Who can apply? To be eligible, your business must be: Based in the Warrington borough A micro-organisation, sole trader, or SME Operating in one of the following priority sectors: Health & Social Care, Manufacturing & Engineering, Construction, Life Sciences, Information & Communication/Digital, Logistics, or E-commerce Interested in training employees in one of the following priority skills: Digital, Green Skills, Low Carbon, or Leadership & Management. Who is eligible? Employees you refer for training must: Be 19+ years old Not be already enrolled on a funded course or apprenticeship. Please note that whilst your business must be based in the Warrington borough, employees receiving training do not need to live in it. |
